Utah softball earned its first conference series win of the season after defeating California 6-4 on Sunday, April 10th in Salt Lake City. Cal jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead by the middle of the first inning. But the Utes clawed their way back before taking the lead in the bottom of the fifth. Katie Faulk had an impressive day for the Utes, catching all seven innings behind the plate and going 2-for-3 with a home run and double.
