Huskies in Second After Round One at Cardinal Cup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Washington women's golf team currently sits in second after the first round of the Cardinal Cup on Friday as it recorded a 7-over 295. The Dawgs are just three strokes off the team lead, held by Campbell (+4). Senior Alice Duan had Washington's best round on Friday as she is tied for seventh at even-par 72.

Dawgs Head to Kentucky for Cardinal Cup

The Washington women's golf team hits the road to continue its fall slate this week as they will head to Kentucky to take part in the Cardinal Cup, hosted by the University of Louisville. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be competed at the par-72, 6,261 yard University of Louisville Golf Club, Oct. 18-20 with 18 holes on each day. This is the first time Washington has competed in the Cardinal Cup.

Ye Wins, Cardinal Finishes Second

Freshman Angelina Ye fired a 5-under 66 on Sunday to win the 2019 Stanford Intercollegaite hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice with a 10-under 203 on the weekend.

No. 3 USC Ties For Third At Stanford Intercollegiate

Senior Allisen Corpuz extended her streak of rounds of par or better to seven with a 2-under 69 while junior Alyaa Abdulgany matched the score today, the duo leading the No. 3 USC women's golf team to a tie for third on the final day of the 2019 Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday (Oct. 13) at the Stanford (Calif.) G.C.
