NCAA Championship Format Changed Due to Weather; Round 2 Begins Sunday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Severe weather came through Blessings Golf Club on Saturday at the NCAA National Championships, forcing the early morning groups to not complete their round and the afternoon groups (Washington included) to not be able to start. Second round action will resume for all teams at 8 a.m. PT with the morning wave finishing their round and the afternoon wave (UW) starting from holes 1 and 10.

UW in Ninth After Day One of NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark - The 18th ranked University of Washington women's golf team opened up the 2019 NCAA Championships at the challenging Blessings Golf Club with a 19-over 311 to put them in ninth following Friday's opening round. Senior Sarah Rhee led the Dawgs as she is tied for fifth with a 1-over 74.

Four Dawgs Earn Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention Honors

SAN FRANCISCO – Four University of Washington women's golf student-athletes earned recognition for their work off the course on Thursday as they were named to the 2019 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention team. The conference honored seniors Julianne Alvarez and Wenyung Keh along with juniors Alice Duan and Karen Miyamoto.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 18th ranked Washington Husky women's golf team begins play at its third NCAA National Championship in the last four years starting this Friday, May 17 at the par-73, 6,473 yard Blessings Golf Club. The Huskies are coming off a second place finish at the Cle Elum Regional earning their bid to the 2019 National Championships.

UW Advances to NCAA Championships for Third Time in Four Years

CLE ELUM, Wash. – The University of Washington women's golf team finished second at the NCAA Cle Elum Regional to earn their third bid in four years to the NCAA Championships. The Huskies posted a 5-under 859 (285-291-281) at Tumble Creek Golf Club and were led by sophomore Rino Sasaki who finished tied for second. The 2019 NCAA National Championships take place May 17-22 at the Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Ark.

Huskies Finish 18th at NCAA Championships to Conclude Season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 18th ranked University of Washington women's golf team's season came to an end on Monday as the Huskies finished 18th at the 2019 NCAA Championships. UW posted a 61-over 937 (311-311-315) during the weather-shortened 54-hole stroke play portion of the championship at the par-73 Blessings Golf Club.
