USC Women's Rowing Defeated by Reigning NCAA Champion Washington at Las Vegas Collegiate Rowing Invitational
LAS VEGAS -- The No. 18 ranked USC women's rowing team began the 2020 season with the Las Vegas Collegiate Rowing Invitational, where they took on the reigning NCAA champions, the Washington Huskies on Lake Las Vegas on Saturday (Feb. 29). USC placed second to Washington in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight and the Varsity Four (but finshed ahead of Washington's 2V4+ boat).
The Women of Troy will participate in three races against the Huskies: the first and second varsity eight and the varsity four.
Because this race was a scrimmage format, the official times were not recorded.
The Women of Troy showed great promise for the upcoming spring season.
