Pac-12 Women’s Soccer makes league history with four teams in NCAA Quarterfinals

SAN FRANCISCO — Four Pac-12 Women's Soccer teams have advanced to the 2019 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the first time in Conference history as STANFORD, UCLA, USC and WASHINGTON STATE comprise half of the remaining eight teams in the field.

Each of the four Pac-12 teams has the opportunity to advance to next week's NCAA College Cup, creating the possibility for one league to have four semifinalists for the first time in event history. Only the ACC has previously advanced three teams to the College Cup (2011, 2013), while the Pac-12 has advanced two teams to the semifinals on four prior occasions (2007, 2008, 2009, 2017).
