Arizona State volleyball got back on track with a win over Georgia Tech in four sets (25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21) in the last game of the OU Nike Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Junior outside hitter Andrea Mitrovic led the team in kills as Arizona State volleyball swept Louisiana and fell in five sets at Oklahoma on Friday as part of the OU Nike Invitational.
Continuing non-conference play on the road, Arizona State volleyball will travel to Norman, Oklahoma to participate in the OU Nike Invitational from September 13-14, facing Louisiana, Oklahoma and Georgia Tech.
Despite three Sun Devils reaching double figures in kills, Arizona State volleyball had a setback at No. 24 Louisville, falling in four sets (21-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-15) in the final match of the Fleur De Lis Tournament on Saturday. Senior libero Courtney Leffel was named to the Fleur De Lis All-Tournament Team after her efforts this weekend. She earned double-digit digs in each match, improving her streak to 11 matches in a row after earning 10 digs against Louisville.
Senior Jada Burse had a total of 31 kills on the day as Arizona State volleyball split its matches on Friday at the Fleur De Lis Tournament, falling to Western Kentucky 3-1 and defeating Tennessee Tech 3-0.
Riding a perfect 3-0 start to the season, Arizona State volleyball is traveling to Louisville this weekend to compete in the Fleur De Lis Tournament on Friday and Saturday, playing Western Kentucky, Tennessee Tech and No. 24 Louisville.
