Oregon

So you think you can run? Take a class in Oregon’s speed school with head strength and conditioning coach Jim Radcliffe. Very interesting article that will appear in the Sept. 16 issue of ESPN The Magazine. Oh, and Oregon football jumped Ohio State for No. 2 in the new AP poll.

UCLA

Check out these new alternate football uniforms UCLA will wear when playing Washington on Nov. 15. Black, blue and gold. These look amazing. Speaking of amazing, former Bruin Sydney Leroux scored four goals in the U.S. women's national team's 7-0 rout of Mexico last night.

California

The Pac-12 has reinstated Cal defensive lineman Chris McCain after he was wrongfully ejected for targeting  in Saturday’s loss to Northwestern. He would have had to sit out the first half of this Saturday’s game against Portland State had the targeting ruling been upheld.

Utah

The Utes aren’t satisfied with their week 1 victory over Utah State, so Utah is seeking improvement heading into its week 2 game against Weber State.

Arizona

Tra’Mayne Bondurant arrived on the scene in a big way Friday night to help his ‘Cats take down Northern Arizona, and he was selected as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for his two-interception, seven-tackle and pick-six performance against the Lumberjacks. As you might have been able to tell watching the game, passion and instincts make Bondurant a playmaker.

Colorado

In rallying from a small second-half deficit to defeat Colorado State, Mike MacIntyre says the Buffs might have experienced a “defining moment” against the Rams.

Washington

Two Seattle-based quarterbacks were in the building for Washington’s beatdown of Boise State, as Keith Price got mentored by Russell Wilson. The Seahawk signal caller told the Husky gunslinger to slide down after scrambling for big gains to avoid taking hits, not take sacks and keep his eyes down the field longer while avoiding pass rushers. Price says the two are friends, so that’s pretty cool.

Stanford

The Card will be the last team to kick off the 2013 season when it faces its South Bay rivals on Saturday, but that might be the last time the two play in quite a while because the Stanford-San Jose State football series is coming to an end. Sparty wants the Card to come to the 408 or give them more money for playing at Stanford, and it doesn’t make much sense for the Farm Boys to do either, so there you have it.

USC

Hey, we’re coming up on our first conference game of the season when the Trojans host the Cougs Saturday evening, and USC is wary of that Washington State offense that nearly upended Auburn in Alabama.

Washington State

And now for one of the most quotable players in the Pac-12… Let’s read how Connor Halliday evaluates the loss to Auburn and the team’s offensive progress.

Oregon State

Put that loss to Eastern Washington in the past, y’all, because the Beavers are turning the page to Hawai’i, their next opponent. Make it two weeks in a row that Hawai’i will be playing a Pac-12 school after losing to USC 30-13 in its opener.

Arizona State

Alrighty, let’s close this bad boy out and get the Arizona State-Sacramento State scouting report, courtesy of Doug Haller.
