Football Single-Game Tickets For Colorado Available This Week

TEMPE, Ariz. – Single-game tickets for Arizona State University’s home game with Colorado on Oct. 12 at Sun Devil Stadium will go on sale this week.

The Sun Devils’ Pac-12 Conference matchup against Colorado is the annual Hall of Fame game, where the seven former Sun Devil student-athletes who comprise the 2013 ASU Sports Hall of Fame class will be honored on the field at halftime. 

“The Hall of Fame game is a special event because it gives us the opportunity and forum to recognize those who have been so instrumental in paving the way for where our athletics department stands today,” Vice President for University Athletics Steve Patterson said. “Whether it’s tennis and golf or wrestling and baseball, it’s a chance for the Sun Devil community to come together to celebrate our storied past.”   

Fans have the chance to vote on which uniform combination the team wears against the Buffaloes. The three uniform combination options are available at sports.azcentral.com and sundevils.azcentral.com from Sept. 16-30, and the voting results will be announced on Channel 12 during "azcentral sports tonight" after the Oct. 5 ASU-Notre Dame game.

Special Buffalo Snack Packs, which include two Maroon level tickets, two half pound buffalo burgers and two gold Fear The Fork t-shirts, will also go on sale this week. For this game only, Sun Devil Athletics and its catering partner, Sodexo, will individually sell these healthy and delicious buffalo burgers at locations in both the west side of the stadium and the northeast side near the visitor section. 

Sun Devil Club members and subscribers of Devils’ Insider can purchase tickets starting today, and they will become available to followers of Sun Devil Athletics’ social media outlets on Wednesday before being offered to the general public on Thursday at 9 a.m.

The 2013 Hall of Fame induction class includes Willie Bloomquist (Baseball, 1997-99), Reka Cseresnyes (Women’s Tennis, 1995-98), Chris Hanell (Men’s Golf, 1993-97), Todd Heap (Football, 1998-2000), John Jacobs (Baseball, 1957-60), Eric Larkin (Wrestling, 1999-2003) and J.R. Redmond (Football, 1996-99).  

The Hall of Fame Luncheon and Induction Ceremony takes place on Oct. 11 at the Phoenix Country Club from 11:30a.m.-1:30 p.m. The Luncheon will include a formal induction ceremony into the ASU Hall of Fame by the ASU Athletic Heritage Committee and tickets cost $50 per person or $500 for a table of 10.  Fans can register online at sundevilclub.com/events or call/email Manager of Special Events Freddy Tuggle at 480-727-0844/Freddy.Tuggle@asu.edu.

A limited number of single-game tickets for the team’s Pac-12 home opener and Maroon Monsoon against USC are still available. There are several ways to buy tickets earlier than the on-sale dates for the remaining three home games, including becoming a season ticket holder.

Season ticket holders can currently purchase discounted single-game tickets at any time other than on the day of each game.

Tickets start as low as $25 or buy a Raising Cane’s Family Tailgate Pack, which includes four single-game tickets and four Raising Cane’s meal vouchers. Group rates for more than 15 people can also be purchased. The special $10 section is no longer available.

Be sure to arrive early each game for the second year of Devil Walk, which begins 2 hours 15 minutes before kickoff inside Wells Fargo Arena, and will once again feature the 2013 team, the highly acclaimed ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, the Spirit Squad, special videos and highlights, and more.
