Pac-12 football uniform watch: Week 8

Oct 19, 2013
@WinTheDay

A full slate of Pac-12 games in Week 8 should include a bevy of unique fashion statements. Oregon has neither green nor yellow in this week's outfit as it hosts Washington State, and Arizona State's homecoming will bring about a new look for this season but a familiar one to alumni.

Utah

For the first time this season, the Utes will wear their white away jerseys. Utah has played at home in five of their first six games and wore all red against BYU in Provo, Utah.

Washington

Washington is trying to wash out the maroon and gold at Sun Devil Stadium. The Huskies have white jerseys, pants and helmets against Arizona State.

UCLA

UCLA is wearing the all-whites against Stanford on the road. It's the same uniform the Bruins wore at Nebraska earlier in the year. That ended well for Jim Mora's team.

Oregon

Is it the boldest move by the Oregon Ducks yet? Whatever the case may be, the cause behind the Ducks' pink and black uniform combination for an evening matchup against Washington State is a good one. Oregon and Nike is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month and raising money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Arizona

The Arizona Wildcats will stay away from wearing too much of their own cardinal red with the Utah Utes coming to town. For the first time with new uniform designs, the Wildcats will go blue-on-blue-on-blue (with a little red trim).

Arizona State

It's homecoming at Arizona State, which means Saturday's game against the Huskies is more about tradition than anything. The Sun Devils will wear gold helmets with maroon jerseys and pants.

Stanford

Stanford's locker room is stocked with white tops and cardinal jerseys for a top-15 clash against the UCLA Bruins.

Colorado

Colorado plays against Charleston Southern with a traditional gold and black look. The game acts as a makeup following the cancellation of a bout with Fresno State in the nonconference schedule.
