Spotlight: Jerry Neuheisel

Reserve quarterback Jerry Neuheisel was thrust into the national spotlight after leading the UCLA football team to a come-from-behind victory over Texas at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, appropriately nicknamed Jerry World.

The football world learned quickly that Neuheisel, the son of former UCLA quarterback and coach Rick Neuheisel, is a skilled and talented quarterback who accepts and excels in either role – as the leader and as the backup. Jerry has another side to him, though. While football pumps through his veins, Neuheisel is a charismatic and thoughtful student-athlete with clear expectations for the future.
