ASU RB Richard bowls over Duke safety for TD

Duke redshirt sophomore DeVon Edwards is a valuable asset to the Blue Devils’ football team. He was the team’s second-leading tackler with 119 stops as a safety and also returned a kickoff for a touchdown. He was named All-ACC as both a safety and return specialist. In sum, DeVon Edwards is a good football player.

But he was no match for Arizona State’s Demario Richard on the Sun Devils’ first drive of the game at the Sun Bowl Saturday in El Paso. The true freshman (yes, true freshman) running back plowed over Edwards en route to a 9-yard touchdown run to put the Forks on the board.
