Jared Goff sets Cal school record for career TD passes in game vs. WSU

Oct 3, 2015

Congratulations are in order for California quarterback Jared Goff, who set the school record for career touchdown passes in the first quarter of the Golden Bears’ game against Washington State Saturday afternoon.

With his 34-yard strike to Bryce Treggs, Goff surpassed Kyle Boller with the 65th touchdown pass of his career. You can only expect Goff to shred that previous record with seven regular season games remaining after Saturday’s bout with the Cougs.

Goff, who's still a junior, now holds 23 school records, including passing yards (8,721), total offense (8,600 yards) and completions (728; all numbers accurate entering Saturday’s game) in addition to the touchdown passes mark.
