SAN FRANCISCO - The WASHINGTON Huskies captured the Pac-12 North Division title as they defeated rival WASHINGTON STATE, 45-17, Friday afternoon in Pullman, Wash. The Huskies will now wait to see if they will face COLORADO or USC from the Pac-12 South Division in the sixth annual Pac-12 Football Championship Game on Friday, December 2 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Washington, ranked No. 5 in the College Football Playoff ranking, captured the North title after finishing the regular season with a 8-1 Pac-12 record, 11-1 overall, and will look to capture its first Pac-12 championship since 2000.

If Colorado defeats Utah Saturday (5:30 p.m. MT/FOX), the Buffaloes would represent the South Division. If Utah defeats Colorado, the Buffaloes drop into a first-place tie with USC. Based on the Pac-12 tiebreaker, USC defeated Colorado in head-to-head competition earlier this season (21-17 on Oct. 8 in Los Angeles) and would represent the South Division in the Pac-12 Championship Game.

The Pac-12 Championship Game will be televised by FOX at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.

Tickets are available online through the Pac-12 website (www.pac-12.com/tickets).
