Pac-12 announces volleyball players of the week

Offensive: Mima Mirkovic, JR, OH, California (Irvine, Calif.)
3.70 KPS, .329 Pct., 3.10 DPS, 4.0 PPS
• Recorded her seventh and eighth double-doubles of the season to help the No. 15 Bears secure two five-set victories over No. 18 Utah (3-2) and Colorado (3-2) last week.
• Led the Bears with 18 kills and 11 digs with a .341 percentage to help California top Utah in hitting (.262-.183) and digs (77-70).
• Posted 19 kills against the Buffs, including the game-winner in a 16-14 final set to go along with a season-high 20 digs.
• Earns her first-career offensive player of the week honor, and California’s 37th all-time.

Defensive: Shayne McPherson, SR, LB, Washington (Seattle, Wash.)

• Led No. 10 Washington to defeat Arizona State (3-1) and Arizona (3-1) last week.
• Helped Washington post its two highest digging totals of the season, leading the team with 19 digs against the Sun Devils and 25 versus Arizona.
• Held the Arizona schools to a combined .146 attack percentage on the week, limiting the Wildcats to a season-low .080 percentage.
• Collects her first-career defensive player of the week award, and the 71st all-time weekly honor for the Huskies.

Freshman: Iman Isanovic, FR, MB, Arizona State (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovin)
3.67 KPS, .291 Pct., 0.89 DPS, 3.7 PPS
• Led Arizona State to its first win over a ranked opponent this year after upsetting No. 21 Washington State (3-2).
• Posted a career-high 20 kills to help the Sun Devils comeback from a 2-0 deficit while facing the Cougs, becoming the first ASU freshman to earn 20 or more kills since Ivana Jeremic had 21 in 2016.
• Recorded 33 kills on .291 hittting.
• Named freshman of the week for the first time this season and earns Arizona State’s fourth freshman player of the week award.
