‘The Rivalry,’ highlighting classic Pac-12 football rivalry games from Stanford and USC, airs this week on Pac-12 Network

The USC versus Notre Dame rivalry encore begins tomorrow at 6 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. MT on Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Now app
 
SAN FRANCISCO - ‘The Rivalry’ continues this week on Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Now app, with encores highlighting iconic football rivalries from seasons past. Tomorrow, USC’s rivalry with Notre Dame airs all day and on Friday, Stanford fans can relive Cardinal classics against the Fighting Irish.
 
USC’s encore against Notre Dame begins tomorrow at 6 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. MT with a 2002 highlight, in which Carson Palmer threw for 425 yards and four touchdowns to lead then-No. 6 USC over the then-No. 7 Irish. The victory from 2004 airs at 8 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. MT, and the thrilling win from 2005, in which Reggie Bush ran for three touchdowns and Matt Leinart pushed his way into the end zone for the game-winning score, follows at 10 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. MT.
 

The last-second victories continue at 12 p.m. PT / 1 p.m. MT, with then-No. 3 USC’s late win against then-No. 8 Notre Dame from 1978, followed by the overtime upset from 1996 at 1 p.m. PT / 2 p.m. MT. Cody Kessler’s six-touchdown game to lead the Trojans past the Irish from 2014 airs at 9 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. MT, and the win from 2016, in which Adoree’ Jackson scored three touchdowns, follows at 10 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. MT.

 

Stanford’s rivalry marathon against Notre Dame airs Friday starting at 6 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. MT with the victory from 1997, and followed by the contest from 2009 at 8 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. MT, featuring Toby Gerhart’s game-winning touchdown with 59 seconds left on the clock. Then-No. 20 Stanford’s upset of then-No. 9 Notre Dame from 2017, in which K.J. Costello threw four touchdowns, airs at 9 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. MT.

 
 
The 2013 edition of the rivalry, highlighted by Wayne Lyons' two fourth-quarter interceptions, can be relived at 10 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. MT. Then-No. 13 Stanford’s last-second win from 2015, in which Conrad Ukropina lifted the Cardinal over then-No. 4 Notre Dame with a 45-yard field goal, airs at 11 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. MT.
 
 
At 11 p.m. PT / 12 a.m. MT, fans can tune into “Our Stories: Stanford Roundtable,” in which Stanford’s women’s basketball’s Jenna Brown and Maya Dodson, football’s Thomas Booker and former women’s soccer player Ryan Walker-Hartshorn sit down with host Ashley Adamson for a roundtable on social justice and civil rights issues.
