SAN FRANCISCO - A brand-new installment of “Pac-12 Playlist,” featuring Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott, Oregon President Michael Schill, Arizona State Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson and Washington football head coach Jimmy Lake, airs today at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Now app.

Hosts Ashley Adamson and Yogi Roth chat with Scott, Schill, Anderson and Lake about the Pac-12 Conference announcing the resumption of football, basketball and winter sports. The Commissioner discusses the significance of returning to play, what went into the decision and gives an update on the football schedule. Anderson gives his reaction to finding out about the resumption of play, as well as how COVID-19 testing will be executed on campus. President Schill delves into what was discussed in Thursday’s CEO meeting and Lake shares his excitement for his team and the return to play.

“I’m very happy, but I’m also proud of the way our stakeholders came together - the presidents and chancellors, ADs, coaches - and realized that health and safety was first and foremost, even if that required more patience and it was frustrating for everyone to see other parts of the country going forward first,” said Scott. “But we stayed true to our values. From that perspective, I also feel a sense of pride in the values of what this conference stands for, as led by our presidents and chancellors.”

Adamson and Roth also break down the developments from Thursday’s CEO meeting with Scott, Schill, Anderson and Lake on a new episode of the “Pac-12 Perspective” podcast, available now wherever fans get their podcasts.
