The ‘Fifth Down Game’ and other football favorites are set to air this week, as ‘On This Date’ classics continue on Pac-12 Network

SAN FRANCISCO - Pac-12 Networks continues its trip down memory lane this week with more ‘On This Date’ football classics, highlighting memorable Pac-12 games and moments from seasons past, airing on Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Now app.
 
Tomorrow is the 30th anniversary of the ‘Fifth Down Game,’ in which then-No. 12 Colorado topped Missouri behind a touchdown on fifth down, and this contest kicks off the encore at 12 p.m. PT / 1 p.m. MT. Then-No. 18 Stanford’s overtime victory against Arizona from 2012, highlighted by Stephan Taylor’s 21-yard game-winning touchdown, follows at 1 p.m. PT / 2 p.m. MT, and California’s upset of then-No. 25 UCLA from 2012, in which Zach Maynard threw four touchdowns and the defense forced six turnovers, can be relived at 2 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. MT. The ‘Fifth Down Game’ airs again at 3 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. MT, and then-No. 10 Washington’s victory at UCLA behind Myles Gaskin’s two touchdowns and 116 rushing yards follows at 4 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. MT.
 
 
Marcus Mariota’s four-touchdown game to lead the then-No. 2 Ducks past then-No. 23 Washington from 2012 airs at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT, and the ‘Fifth Down Game’ reairs at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT. Then-No. 21 Colorado’s late win against Arizona State from 2018, highlighted by Laviska Shenault Jr.’s four touchdowns, airs at 8 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. MT, and the Washington State win at Oregon State from 2018, in which Gardner Minshew threw five touchdowns, can be relived at 9 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. MT. The marathon wraps up at 10 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. MT with Stanford’s thrilling upset of then-No. 2 USC from 2007.
 
Wednesday’s encore begins at 12 p.m. PT / 1 p.m. MT with then-No. 16 Cal’s win against then-No. 11 Oregon from 2006, in which DeSean Jackson returned a punt 65 yards for the score. Arizona’s victory at Colorado from 2017, highlighted by Khalil Tate’s 327 rushing yards which is the most by a quarterback in FBS history, can be relived at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT.
