Utes in the NFL: Week 6 Review, Week 7 Preview

Oct 22, 2020

SALT LAKE CITY – Interceptions, pass breakups and more came in the sixth week of the NFL regular season as former Utah football athletes continued to shine for their respective teams.

Julian Blackmon continued to show out for the Indianapolis Colts, recording his second interception of the season. Cincinnati was marching down field behind by four in the final quarter of the game when Blackmon picked off Heisman winner Joe Burrow on the Indianapolis 19-yard-line, sealing the 31-27 win for the Colts.

Jaylon Johnson also finished Chicago's win at Carolina with three tackles and two passes defended, giving him nine pass breakups this season. His nine pass breakups ranks third in the NFL this year and first among rookies.

On Offense, Tim Patrick recorded his second straight 100-yard game in Denver's 18-12 win over New England, finishing the game with four receptions for 101 yards, averaging 25.3 yards per catch.

His 41-yard reception on a second-and-six in the game was a career long catch.
