Marlon Tuipulotu Named Pac-12 Defensive Lineman Of The Week; Kedon Slovis Earns Honors
USC junior defensive lineman of the Week Marlon Tuipulotu was named the Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in the Trojans' season-opening comeback victory over Arizona State.
Tuipulotu recorded 8 tackles against the Sun Devils from his nose tackle spot, including getting 2 stops for losses with USC's only sack.

Sophomore quarterback Kedon Slovis earned Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award Great 8, Manning Award Star of the Week and CollegeSportsMadness.com Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors for his play against ASU.
He hit 72.7 percent of his passes as he completed a USC game record 40 passes on 55 attempts (2 shy of the school mark) for 381 yards and 2 TDs with an interception and ran for 21 yards on 6 tries, with both scoring tosses coming on fourth down in the final 3 minutes to help the Trojans overcome a 13-point fourth quarter deficit.
