BOULDER- Women's basketball's Mya Hollingshed, football's Nate Landman, and men's basketball's McKinley Wright IV are the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow.

Hollingshed led an undefeated opening week for the Buffs where she averaged 18.0 points on 76.5-percent shooting, 11.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game. She finished each game with a double-double, the ninth and 10th of her career.

The Buffs started the season against Western Colorado on Wednesday night where Hollingshed opened her senior campaign with 19 points and 11 rebounds. In the victory over Air Force on Saturday, Hollingshed added 17 points and 11 rebounds on an efficient 8-of-9 shooting.

Landman shined on Saturday for the Buffs in a 20-10 victory over San Diego State. The senior totaled 11 tackles, ten of which were solo. He added a tackle for loss, three sacks, two tackles for zero, four third down stops, and a pass breakup to his impressive performance.

Landman was nationally recognized for his play, earning the Walter Camp Football Foundation's National Defensive Player of the Week, as well as being named a semifinalist for the Butkus Award, given to the nation's top linebacker.

Wright IV averaged 22.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals as the Buffs won both of their games in the Little Apple Classic. Wright shot 64.3 percent from the field and 43 percent from three. He is the first Buff to open the season with a pair of 20-point games since 2010 (Alec Burks).

The senior guard was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week. It is the third time he has been named Player of the Week by the league in his career which puts him on a list with Chauncey Billups and Askia Booker as the only Buffs to have accomplished the feat as many times.
