Pac-12 announces Women’s Basketball Players of the Week - Jan. 11, 2021

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 today announced its women’s basketball Players of the Week, presented by Nextiva.
Starting this week, the Pac-12 is deepening its relationship with Official Communications Partner, Nextiva, and all weekly Pac-12 women’s basketball awards will be presented by the cloud communications company. At the conclusion of the season, Nextiva will also present the Pac-12 annual performance awards, including Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Sixth Player of the Year.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Natalie Chou, R-Sr., G, UCLA (Plano, Tex.)

Paced No. 9 UCLA with a career-high 28 points in the win over Utah.

Shot 11-of-14 (.786) from the field including 5-of-7 (.714) from beyond the arc, which tied a career-best for made three-pointers.

Handed out two assists and added two steals.

This is Chou’s first career weekly honor and UCLA’s fourth Player of the Week nod this season.

Led Washington State to an upset of No. 7 Arizona, scoring 17 points including the game-tying basket to force overtime as well as the game-winning shot as time expired.

This is Leger-Walker’s third-straight Freshman of the Week award and fourth this season.
