Pac-12 announces Women’s Basketball Players of the Week - Jan. 11, 2021

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 today announced its women’s basketball Players of the Week, presented by Nextiva.
Starting this week, the Pac-12 is deepening its relationship with Official Communications Partner, Nextiva, and all weekly Pac-12 women’s basketball awards will be presented by the cloud communications company. At the conclusion of the season, Nextiva will also present the Pac-12 annual performance awards, including Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Sixth Player of the Year. 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Natalie Chou, R-Sr., G, UCLA (Plano, Tex.)
1 GP, 28.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.0 apg, 2.0 spg, .786 FG (11-14), .714 3FG (5-7) 
  • Paced No. 9 UCLA with a career-high 28 points in the win over Utah.
  • Shot 11-of-14 (.786) from the field including 5-of-7 (.714) from beyond the arc, which tied a career-best for made three-pointers.
  • Handed out two assists and added two steals.
  • This is Chou’s first career weekly honor and UCLA’s fourth Player of the Week nod this season.

  • Led Washington State to an upset of No. 7 Arizona, scoring 17 points including the game-tying basket to force overtime as well as the game-winning shot as time expired.
  • Added five assists, three rebounds and three steals.
  • Has scored in double-figures in every game so far this season.
  • This is Leger-Walker’s third-straight Freshman of the Week award and fourth this season.
