Utah Soccer Unveils 2021 Spring Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah women's soccer program has released its 2021 spring schedule after having the fall slate postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Utah will spend the month of February and first weekend of March away from Salt Lake City, but will return for the home opener at Ute Field on March 12.

"The team is pumped to be back on the field," said head coach Rich Manning on the return to competition. "We have a lot of new faces and this spring schedule will give us valuable game time. The players have been working so hard and are grateful for the opportunity to play together again. We can't wait to get after it."

Utah opens the spring schedule against in-state rival BYU on Saturday, Feb. 6, playing at the Zion's Bank Training Center (RSL Indoor Facility) in Herriman. The Utes and Cougars will square off at 5 p.m. MT on BYUtv.

The Utes will play a pair of games the following weekend, beginning with a road game at Dixie State on Thursday, Feb. 11 in St. George. The Utes will return to Herriman for a contest against Weber State on Sunday, Feb. 14.

Coming off a bye week, Utah will return to competition when Pac-12 play begins on Friday, Feb. 26 against Washington State in Pullman, Wash. Utah will turn around and play Washington State again on Sunday, Feb. 28 as a non-conference matchup.

The Utes will remain on the road the next week when they visit Stanford and California to continue conference action. Utah will head to Palo Alto, Calif. on Friday, March 5 to play Stanford and will visit Cal on Sunday, March 7 in Berkeley, Calif.

Utah will play its first home game at Ute Field on Friday, March 12 to begin a four-game homestand when the team welcomes the USC Trojans. Then on Sunday, March 14, Utah will face UCLA in Salt Lake City. Continuing play at home, the Utes will play host to Colorado in a non-conference matchup on Saturday, March 20. Before hitting the road, Utah will close out the stretch of home games against Washington on Friday, March 26.

Utah will head to Eugene for a match against Oregon on Friday, Apr. 2, followed by a contest against Oregon State in Corvallis on Sunday, Apr. 4. The Utes will return home to welcome Arizona State and Arizona on Friday, Apr. 9 and Sunday, Apr. 11, respectively. Closing out the regular season, Utah will travel to Boulder, Colo. to play the Colorado Buffaloes again, this time counting toward the conference record.

The NCAA Tournament selection will be on Sunday, Apr. 25 with the NCAA First Round taking place on Apr. 30. For a full look at the 2021 Utah soccer spring schedule, click here.
