Top-Ranked USC Men's Tennis Hosts LMU On Friday
LOS ANGELES — The No. 1 USC men's tennis team continues its home stand this week, following up last week's ITA Kickoff Weekend success with a nonconference bout against LMU. The Trojans and the Lions are scheduled for a 3 p.m. bout on Friday (Jan. 29) at Marks Stadium.
USC (2-0) remains ranked at the top of the ITA national team rankings this week, and also boasts the nation's top-ranked singles player in Daniel Cukierman and top-ranked doubles team in Cukierman and Riley Smith. In all, USC has five Trojans ranked in singles and two ranked doubles teams.
So far in 2021, USC (2-0) is undefeated in all singles competition, having combined forces for a 22-0 singles mark with a perfect 7-0 record in dual matches to date. This will be the first dual-match action of the year for LMU.
No fans will be in attendance at Marks Stadium this week, but the USC-LMU match will have a live scoreboard and live video for each court available HERE .
