Arizona Beats NAU in Third-Straight Shutout

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Wildcats (4-0-0) completed their third clean sheet of the season against NAU (1-1-0). The final score of 3-0 came thanks to goals by Talley, Clifford, and Hocking.

Play of the match - Header 
Iliana Hocking's header in the 83rd minute brought the match to a close. Jordan Hall's corner played straight into the middle of the box where it met Hocking's head. The rest was history as the ball found the back of the net.

Jada Talley and Hannah Clifford had electric nights on the pitch. In the 26th minute Talley dribbled the ball half way across the field and easily snuck the ball past the keeper and into the back of the net. 

Talley came back in the 64th minute to assist in Clifford's goal. The pair made it look easy with Talley's cross easily finding its way to Clifford. Clifford finished the play with a killer shot into the back of the net.

"I think we got better in the second half. We made some adjustments at half time and we saw our team respond to that. Directly answering, 'what did we learn?' its that. Our team can take halftime adjustments to get better in the second."
