TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Wildcats (4-1-0) fell to No.4 UCLA (4-0-0) 2-1. The Cats did not go easily in their first defeat of the season, giving the Bruins a run for their money. Less than two minutes after UCLA scored their first goal of the night, the Cats came right back.
In the 20th minute, midfielder Madison Goerlinger scored her first goal of the season and the first Arizona goal of the night. Off of a quick assist from forward Jill Aguilera, Goerlinger knew exactly where to put it, in the back of the net. The Bruins were able to come back a few minutes later to score the game-winning goal, making the final score 2-1.
