Fetherstonhaugh Qualifies for 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Redshirt sophomore Grace Fetherstonhaugh qualified for the 5000 meter at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
 
The competition will take place in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Mar. 11-13.
 
Fetherstonhaugh qualified after running a 16:00.93 in the 5000 meter at the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 12.
 
She becomes just the third Beaver to qualify for the event. Oregon State's first athlete to qualify was Carina Westover in the high jump in 1984, she finished sixth. The last to qualify for OSU was in 2012, Laura Carlyle who finished 13th in the mile.
