Beavers To Compete At Bandon Dunes Championship

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team returns to action Sunday through Tuesday at the 12th Annual Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Ore.
 
FIELD (14): Oregon State, Boise State, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Northern Colorado, Oregon, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, Stanford, Utah, Utah Valley, Washington State
 
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-71, 6,752-yard Bandon Trails Golf Course.
 
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State will go with a lineup of Carson Barry, Mateo Fuenmayor, Kyosuke Hara, Shawn Lu and Spencer Tibbits.
 
FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes each day. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
 
TEE TIMES: There will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. all three days.
 
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament at golfstat.com.

LAST YEAR AT THE BANDON DUNES CHAMPIONSHIP: The Beavers won the 16-team Bandon Dunes Championship last March in what ended up being the final tournament of the season due to COVID-19. They finished the three-day, 54-hole tournament with an 11-under 281-277-283--841 at the par-71, 6,577-yard Pacific Dunes Course to win by eight strokes over second-place Washington.
 
Kyosuke Hara (72-70-68) and Spencer Tibbits (71-69-70) both finished in a tie for third place with a 3-under 210 to lead Oregon State. Carson Barry finished in a tie for fifth place with a 2-under 68-70-73--211.
