Jehlárová Named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week

SAN FRANCISCO  Washington State Volleyball's Magda Jehlářová was named as the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the week of March 8-March 14 as announced by the Pac-12 Conference office Tuesday afternoon.

The sophomore middle from Prerov, Czech Republic earns her first Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor as a Cougar, and is her fourth conference of the week selection during her Washington State career. Magda started the week off with an impressive offensive match in the 3-1 win over Oregon State, totaling 11 kills on 18 attacks with just two errors. She finished the match hitting .500 overall and added three total blocks to the winning effort. 

Magda provided solid numbers once again, both offensively and defensively during this three-set victory over the Beavers, posting six kills, five blocks, four digs and hit .417 overall.

The Cougars will be back in action this Friday, March 19 as No. 14 WSU will host rival No. 8 Washington inside Bohler Gym, with first serve set for 5 p.m.
