Rosenbaum Named Pac-12 Defensive Player of Week

UCLA freshman Michaela Rosenbaum has been named the Pac-12 Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Rosenbaum, who hails from Santa Rosa, Calif., started and played 102 minutes as UCLA came from behind to tie USC and remain unbeaten at 8-0-2. Rosenbaum made a huge defensive play in the 34th minute, clearing a shot off the line while protecting the right post on a corner kick. She also had a shot on goal in the 80th minute. A converted midfielder, Rosenbaum has started at right back in each of the last seven games.

This is the first Pac-12 weekly award for Rosenbaum this season. She is the third consecutive Bruin to win the Defensive Player of the Week award and the fourth different UCLA player overall.
