Fifteen Bruins on NWSL Challenge Cup Rosters

A total of 15 former UCLA players are on team rosters for the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup, second-most in the nation.

The 21-game tournament begins on Friday, April 9 at 5:30pm PT with a rematch of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup final between Houston and Chicago, televised live on CBS Sports Network. The tournament concludes on May 8 with the championship game, which will be broadcast live at 10am PT on CBS.

The Bruins are represented on eight teams, including three each on Chicago (Zoey Goralski, Mal Pugh and Sarah Woldmoe), North Carolina (Hailie Mace, Katelyn Rowland and Taylor Smith) and NJ/NY Gotham FC (Caprice Dydasco, Claire Winter and McCall Zerboni) and two on OL Reign (Lauren Barnes and Rosie White). Other Bruins playing in the Challenge Cup are Megan Oyster (Houston), Darian Jenkins (Kansas City), Sydney Leroux (Orlando) and Ashley Sanchez (Washington).
