Buffaloes Meet At Mines Moved

BOULDER – Colorado track and field is set to compete at the Kit Mayer Classic at the Colorado School of Mines after the meet was moved to Sunday for inclement weather.
 
The squad is sending a small number of athletes, three sprint/hurdlers from both genders along with the throws squads. The sprinters/hurdlers consist of Chris Craig, Garrett Nelson, Kellen Monestime, Samantha Crosmer, Tamia Badal and Reese Renz.
 
The thrower squad is much larger, led by Dominique Williams fresh off becoming the third CU male to ever toss the hammer greater than 200 feet. He is joined by Tyler Sconce, Lars Atkinson, Caleb Penner, Clayton Castro, Henry Carlson and Ryan Ganson for the full men's throw squad. The women's team consists of Lauren and Meghan Whyrick, Obi Osafo-Mensah, Gya'ni Sami, Elena Opp and Jane Powers.
 
There are no spectators of any kind allowed at Colorado School of Mines.
 
Colorado plans to spread out across the country next week with meets at CSU, LSU and Oregon.
