Ten Cardinal Headed To NFL

Ten former Stanford Football players are headed to the National Football League following the 2021 NFL Draft.
 
Five Cardinal were drafted, tied for the most in the Pac-12 Conference and 11th-most nationally. Stanford has had a total of 274 draft picks in school history and has now had at least five players selected in the draft in five of the last eight seasons.
 
Stanford's first player drafted was offensive tackle Walker Little, who became the first Cardinal ever drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Little, coupled with Atlanta Falcons fourth-round pick Drew Dalman, makes nine Stanford offensive linemen to be drafted since 2012 – the most in the Pac-12.
 
Quarterback Davis Mills was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round, becoming Stanford's 24th quarterback drafted all-time. Stanford's 24 QB's drafted, and it's 16 drafted since 1967, is the second-most nationally. Stanford is also the only school in the nation with four quarterbacks drafted No. 1 overall all-time, and one of just six schools with four-or-more No. 1 overall picks.
 
Cornerback Paulson Adebo (third round, New Orleans Saints) and wide receiver Simi Fehoko (fifth round, Dallas Cowboys) were also drafted. Stanford is one of just 10 schools to have had multiple players selected in each draft since 2010.
 
Following the draft, five Cardinal agreed to terms as undrafted free agents: OT Foster Sarell (Baltimore Ravens), TE Scooter Harrington (Chicago Bears), LB Curtis Robinson (Denver Broncos), DL Thomas Schaffer (Chicago Bears) and WR Connor Wedington (Seattle Seahawks).
