Jun 17, 2021

NEW HAVEN, Ct. -- The Walter Camp Foundation released its preseason All-America teams and Washington offensive lineman Jaxson Kirkland and linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio were named to the second team.

Kirkland started at left tackle in the Huskies four games in 2020, earning First Team All-Pac-12 recognition. He has started all 29 games he has played in during his career, including 25 at right guard in 2018 and 2019.

Ulofoshio earned All-Pac-12 Second Team and Pro Football Focus All-America Honorable Mention recognition in 2020 after leading the Huskies with 47 stops in four games. He also had one sack, four pass defenses, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. He set a career high with 14 tackles against Stanford and eclipsed 10 tackles in three of four games. Pro Football Focus has Ulofoshio rated as their top returning linebacker for 2021. He was previously named to the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List.

Walter Camp, considered the "Father of American Football," first named an All-American team in 1889. The 2021 season will be the 132rd edition of the team.
