Duo Honored

Jul 5, 2021

STANFORD, Calif. – A pair of Stanford women's soccer players were named to CoSIDA's Academic All-America team, the organization announced on Monday. Madison Haley was named to the first team, while Kiki Pickett was named to second team.

Haley is only the second player to earn multiple CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, while Pickett was named to the team for the first time in her career. This is the second-straight season the Cardinal have landed multiple student-athletes on the CoSIDA Academic All-America list, and only third all-time.

Pickett's honor concludes a highly-decorated career, who began her professional career with Kansas City NWSL in May. The Santa Barbara, Calif., native was honored as the Pac-12 Defender of the Year along with earning all-region honors from the United Soccer Coaches.

With Monday's news, Haley joins Teresa Noyola '12 as the only Stanford player to earn multiple CoSIDA Academic All-America honors – she was named to the second team in 2019. The senior was limited to eight appearances this season due to injury but was still honored as a Senior CLASS nominee and landed on the Pac-12 academic honor roll.
