USC Freshman Jane Cox Places First at World Rowing Junior Championships

Freshman rower Jane Cox helped the U.S. place first in the 4+ at the World Rowing Junior Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on August 15. 
 
Cox and Team USA placed first in the A Final with a time of 7:05.90, six seconds ahead of the second place boat, Italy. 
 
Cox will join the Women of Troy from San Diego. A talented oarswoman, Cox is no stranger to competing at an international level. She was invited to participate at the 2018 US Rowing Development Camp, and she also competed at the 2019 USRowing Olympic Development Program where she claimed first in the U17 1x and the U17 4x and took third in the U18+ 8 .
 
Cox joins the Trojan Rowing Family for her debut season this fall.
