SALT LAKE CITY – Entering week nine, the University of Utah will have 15 former Utes on the gridiron this weekend set to battle it out with their respective teams.
Through eight weeks of play, several Utes and their teams are sitting at the top of the standings. Leki Fotu and the Arizona Cardinals (7-1) suffered its first loss of the season, but are in a three-way tie for the top spot in the league with Terrell Burgess, Matt Gay and the Los Angeles Rams (7-1) along with the Green Bay Packers (7-1).
Zack Moss and Star Lotulelei continue their strong play as the Buffalo Bills (5-2) have a firm lead in the AFC East. Coming off a bye week, Tyler Huntley and the Baltimore Ravens (5-2) look to extend their lead in the AFC North after the New York Jets (2-5) stunned the Cincinnati Bengals (5-3) last Sunday.

In week eight, 13 Utes saw playing time with five earning starting spots.
Devontae Booker got his third start of the season in the Giants' 20-17 loss against Kansas City, rushing for a season high 60 yards on 15 carries. Booker also tallied a season high in receiving with 65 yards on 5 receptions with his long being a 41-yard gain.
Marcus Williams had a huge day tying a season high eight tackles helping the Saints defeat the reigning Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers 36-27.
