Get Connected With Arizona Student-Athletes on DYME

Nov 10, 2021

TUCSON, Ariz. – As part of an ongoing commitment to student-athletes and new opportunities surrounding Name, Image and Likeness, the University of Arizona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is the first school in the country to partner with DYME, a new social media platform that will give fans a direct line to exclusive content created by some of their favorite UA student-athletes.

"We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to work with world-class athletes, and a globally recognized brand in the University of Arizona, to deliver an engagement experience that benefits the fans, and now for the first time ever, the athletes," said DYME founder George Pappas. "DYME will create revenue opportunities for both teams and individual athletes, and through our current collaboration, the Arizona athletic department has shown its investment in maximizing the opportunities for its athletes in a way that has yet to be seen in college athletics."

DYME delivers to fans exclusive content that is created specifically by players for a team's biggest supporters. Content will include player profiles, fun conversations, behind the scenes access, team travel videos, locker room chats, game recaps, team competitions and more.

"Arizona Athletics' partnership with DYME bolsters our commitment to providing resources in the Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) space for our student-athletes," Arizona Vice President and Director of Athletics Dave Heeke said. "Supporting the NIL endeavors of Wildcats, which includes our Arizona EDGE program, is the newest addition to the department's longstanding Commitment to an Athletes Total Success (C.A.T.S). We believe the Wildcat journey of student-athletes is enhanced by the utilization of NIL programming as they develop into athletic, academic and life champions."

Subscribers have exclusive access to video chats and text messaging with players previously unavailable to Arizona supporters. Fans can have post-game locker room conversations with athletes, fans can talk about past and upcoming games, and all things Arizona Athletics.

To access the content, go to the app store and download the DYME iOS app by searching "DYME: Athlete Driven Content". From there, you can create your account and subscribe to the teams available and connect with athletes on those teams.

Currently, subscriptions are available for men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball with additional teams to be added in the near future.
