Kirkland, Sirmon, Turner Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District
Three members of the Washington football team – Jaxson Kirkland, Jackson Sirmon and Asa Turner – have earned a place on the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Team, announced today.

A communications major with a 3.42 grade point average, Kirkland earned a place on the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll each of the last two seasons, and was also an All-Pac-12 first-team selection in 2020.
Sirmon, a senior from Brentwood, Tenn., was also named to the Pac-12's Academic Honor Roll each of the last two years. A starting linebacker for each of the last two seasons, Sirmon currently leads the Huskies with 81 total tackles, and also boasts a 3.53 GPA as a finance major
Turner, a junior safety from Carlsbad, Calif., is a real estate major with a 3.55 cumulative GPA. A 2020 Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll selection, he has 25 tackles and leads the team with two interceptions.
