Nov 29, 2021

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Summer Yates was named to the All-Pacific Region Second Team by United Soccer Coaches on Monday. It is the second consecutive year Yates has earned recognition by the United Soccer Coaches.

Earlier in the month, Yates was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team, the second time she has received the First Team recognition in her career and her third overall All-Pac-12 honor.

Yates led the Huskies this fall in goals (5), assists (5), and points (15) while starting all 18 contests at midfield. Yates finished the year on a high note, recording a point in seven of the last eight matches, including two game-winning goals.

Her 13 points in Pac-12 matches were seventh in the conference and her SOG% of .587 was the highest of any player with more than 25 shots.

In four seasons at Washington, Yates has been a constant producer, totaling 20 career goals, which is tied for 10th all-time in program history. Her 17 career assists put her seventh in the Husky record book and her 57 career points are eighth all-time.
