Oregon State Women’s Soccer Signs Caroline Duncan

Dec 1, 2021

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's soccer team signed Caroline Duncan to the 2022 team on Wednesday.

"We are very excited about adding Caroline to our team. Not only is she a very talented player, but she is an outstanding person. We are confident that she will fit right into our group and make an impact both on and off the field." said head coach Lauren Sinacola.

Duncan will join the Beavers as a graduate student studying nutrition after graduating from the University of Memphis, where she played as a defender for her undergrad experience.

While with the Tigers, Duncan started 42 of 57 games played, clocking 3935 minutes on the pitch. The Memphis, Tenn. native helped the Tigers to two AAC titles (2018, 2021), as well as their fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. She earned 2021 AAC All-Tournament Team accolades for her performance this fall.

Duncan has scored two career goals, including the game-winner against Louisiana on Sept. 9, 2018 during her freshman season. She posted two assists this season and has accumulated six points in her career. Academically, Duncan has excelled in the classroom, collecting three AAC All-Academic Team and making four appearances on Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List.

"I chose Oregon State because I wanted to pursue my master's degree in nutrition and OSU has an outstanding research program," said Duncan. "I have heard great things about the OSU soccer program and I am super excited to begin my journey there."
