Bruins in the NFL: Week 17

Seventeen former UCLA football standouts were in action during Week 17 of the 2021 NFL season. In Green Bay, five Bruins made starts, as Krys Barnes, Kenny Clark, Marcedes Lewis and the Packers defeated Anthony Barr, Eric Kendricks and Minnesota Sunday night.

  • Eli Ankou, NT, Buffalo Bills – Ankou logged three total tackles in Buffalo's win versus Atlanta. He was returned to the practice squad Monday.
  • Krys Barnes, ILB, Green Bay Packers – Starter Barnes registered five total tackles and two passes defensed as Green Bay improved its league-best record to 13-3.

  • Anthony Barr, OLB, Minnesota Vikings – Starter Barr posted nine tackles to match the team-high total, with fellow Bruin Eric Kendricks.

  • Kenny Clark, NT, Green Bay Packers – Clark made one tackle in a starting role as Green Bay defeated Minnesota in a matchup that featured five starters who suited up for UCLA.

  • Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Fairbairn missed his only field goal attempt, but converted his lone extra point try and handled kickoff duties.

  • Myles Jack, OLB, Jacksonville Jaguars – Jack recorded six total tackles in a starting role. He has 92 stops on the season.

  • Eric Kendricks, MLB, Minnesota Vikings – Starter Kendricks and former UCLA teammate Anthony Barr each made nine total tackles to lead Minnesota. Kendricks now has a career-best 126 stops on the year.

  • Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Odighizuwa totaled two tackles. He has now made 27 stops – including two sacks – in his rookie season.

  • Matthew Slater, WR, New England Patriots – Slater picked up one assisted tackle on special teams in New England's 50-10 win versus Jacksonville.

  • C Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), RB Demetric Felton (Cleveland Browns), C Andre James (Las Vegas Raiders), RB Joshua Kelley (Los Angeles Chargers), TE Marcedes Lewis (Green Bay Packers), OT Conor McDermott (New York Jets), OT Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders) and C Scott Quessenberry (Los Angeles Chargers) also played, but did not record any statistics.
