Men's Hoops Reschedules Utah For Monday; Also Will Play at USC Jan. 24

Jan 12, 2022

The Arizona State men's basketball team takes on Colorado Saturday night (Jan. 15/ESPN2) at 8 p.m. in Tempe, but in addition to that two postponed games now have make-up dates, including an afternoon tip Monday.

Utah will visit Desert Financial Arena on Monday, Jan. 17, for a 2 p.m. tip-off on Pac-12 Network. The game was scheduled for Thursday (Jan. 13), but health and safety protocols in the Sun Devil program caused a pause.

In addition, ASU will play at USC on Monday, Jan. 24, at 8 p.m. PT/9 p.m. MT on ESPN2. The game  was scheduled for Thurs., Dec. 30, before a COVID pause in the Trojan program forced the postponement.

The Pac-12 announced a series of rescheduled contests for its upcoming men's basketball league schedule. A total of 15 league contests have been postponed to date - three subsequently rescheduled and played, five rescheduled dates below, and seven remaining to be rescheduled.

ASU will continue to find dates to make up the other two games postponed. ASU's Jan. 1 game at UCLA was postponed due to a pause in the UCLA program, and the first make-up date of Jan. 5 could not happen due to an ASU pause. ASU's Jan. 8 game vs. Arizona in Tempe also was postponed due to the same Sun Devil COVID pause.
