Pac-12 Women's Gymnastics Weekly Awards - Feb. 15, 2022

Gymnast & Freshman of the Week: Jade Carey, Fr., Oregon State (Phoenix, Ariz.)

• Took home her fifth all-around title of the season with the Pac-12's highest score of 39.750 last week in Oregon State's victory over Washington.
• Anchored the Orange & Black in all four events as the Beavers posted a 197.275.
• Claimed titles in two events; bars (9.975) and floor (10.00).
• Her Perfect 10 on the floor was the first of her career on the apparatus and second consecutive 10.0 after she boasted one against then-No.21 Arizona State last week.
• The 10.0 floor at OSU is the first since Tasha Smith's in 2008 and OSU topped its highest floor score of the season with the fifth best in the nation (39.675). 
• The Olympic gold medalist is first in the nation for the all-around and on bars, tied for third on floor, No. 6 on beam and ninth on vault.
• Second time winning both Gymnast and Freshman of the Week honors in the same week (Jan. 25).

Specialist of the Week: Jaedyn Rucker, Jr., Utah (Mesa, Ariz.)

• Won the vault title against then-No. 11 California after earning a 10.0 from one judge and ending with a season-high 9.975.
• The 9.975 on vault is the highest vault score in the Pac-12 this season.
• Posted a 9.90 on floor to finish tied for third overall.
• Now has two wins on vault this season.
• Second Pac-12 weekly honor this season (Specialist of the Week - Jan. 11).

Coaches Choice: Jillian Hoffman, Jr., Utah (Murrieta, Calif.)

• Posted a career-high 9.90 on her Yurchenko Full to leadoff the vault rotation for Utah against Cal.
• Hoffman, who battled injuries that had kept her out of competition as a freshman and sophomore, provided a spark in the leadoff role on vault and floor this season and hit every routine. 
• Unfortunately during floor warmups, Hoffman tore her Achilles and saw her comeback season come to an end after years of perseverance to return to competition.
• Hoffman scored above a 9.80 on vault in every meet this season, while she recorded scores of 9.975, 9.90, and a 9.875 on floor.
• Second Pac-12 weekly honor this season (Coaches Choice - Jan. 11).
