“Black Excellence” marathon, along with live wrestling, are showcased this week on Pac-12 Insider

SAN FRANCISCO - Top Pac-12 live wrestling is back this weekend, along with our Black Excellence marathon, and new episodes of Pac-12 Shootaround” and “THE IT FACTORY: Pac-12 Football with Yogi Roth,” presented by Zayo, are all set to air starting today, Feb. 16, on Pac-12 Insider.
 
Jordan Kent is joined by UCLA’s Myles Johnson on this week’s episode of Pac-12 Shootaround, airing tonight, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT. The center shares how he balances academics and basketball, where his love for engineering came from, his goals on the court this season, as well as his foundation BLKdev, which introduces Black children and young adults to STEM.
 
Live wrestling continues on Saturday, Feb. 19 as No. 13 Arizona battles Lehigh at 11 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. MT, while Cal Poly, who is receiving votes in the NWCA Coaches Poll, goes on the road against Stanford at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT.
 
This Saturday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 20, Pac-12 Insider is celebrating Black History Month by showcasing some of the most memorable performances by past and present Black male Pac-12 student-athletes during the “Black Excellence” marathon.
 
The encore begins at 7 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. MT with the 2008 Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinal between then-No. 3 UCLA and USC, in which Russell Westbrook and Darren Collison each had 13 points to help the Bruins reach the championship. Reggie Bush’s 260-yard, two-touchdown performance to lead then-No. 1 USC past then-No. 11 UCLA in the 2005 Pac-10 Football championship and punch a ticket to the Rose Bowl airs at 2 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. MT, and relive then-No. 11 California's victory over Washington from 2006, highlighted by Marshawn Lynch’spair of rushing touchdowns, at 8:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. MT.
 
The “Black Excellence” marathon also features encores of “THE IT FACTORY: Pac-12 Football with Yogi Roth,”presented by Zayo, and “Pac-12 Shootaround.” Next weekend Pac-12 Insider will celebrate “Black Girl Magic,” highlighting past and present Black female Pac-12 student-athletes, and programming details will be forthcoming.
 
The marathon continues on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 5:20 p.m. PT / 6:20 p.m. MT with one of the most memorable games from the 2021 Pac-12 Basketball Tournament between then-No. 24 USC and then-No. 23 Colorado, in which Colorado guard McKinley Wright dropped 24 points and USC forward Evan Mobley put up a career-high 26 points, and a full “Black Excellence” marathon schedule can be found below.
 
 
Another new installment of THE IT FACTORY: Pac-12 Football with Yogi Roth,” presented by Zayo, featuring Washington State running back Max Borghi airs Monday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT. The Cougar senior opens up about his love for football and Washington State, as well as his relationship with Christian McCaffery and how he’s preparing for the NFL.
 
Roth sat down with Stanford wide receiver Michael Wilson on Monday’s episode of “THE IT FACTORY: Pac-12 Football with Yogi Roth,” presented by Zayo, and fans can catch this episode tonight, Feb. 16 at 6:20 p.m. PT / 7:20 p.m. MT, and throughout the week, on Pac-12 Insider.
