Sophomore Brianna Navarrosa is in the top 20 following her second-round 74, an effort matched by senior Katherine Muzi and Amari Avery today as USC is now through 36 holes at the Silverado Showdown at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif.

The Trojans, who are the defending champions of the event, sit sixth at 21-over 597 (300-297). San Jose State leads the event at 1-over with Oregon second at 9-over.

Muzi and and Avery are tied for 25th at 5-over 149 after identical rounds of 75 and 74. Muzi was 4-over thru 6 but birdied 7 and 9 and finished with nine straight pars.

Avery was 4-over today thru 15 but finished with birdies on 16 and 18. That keeps alive her hopes of maintaining her streak of top 10 to start the season, currently standing at 5.

Freshman Xin (Cindy) Kou is tied for 39th at 7-over 151 (76-75) while sophomore Michaela Morard is tied for 50th at 8-over 152 (77-75).
