May 12, 2022

EUGENE, Ore. – Allee Bunker and Hanna Delgado were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 team on Thursday.

Bunker, a senior infielder, has a 3.58 grade point average in accounting. She is hitting .353 this season and leads the Ducks with 39 RBI. Delgado, a sophomore outfielder, has a 3.42 GPA in human physiology. She is second on the team with a .372 average and leads Oregon with 14 stolen bases.

They are the first Ducks named to the All-District team since Danica Mercado in 2017. The two selections match a program high; Oregon also had two members of the All-District team in 2007 (Suzie Barnes, Kristi Leiter) and 2016 (Koral Costa, Cheridan Hawkins).

Bunker and Delgado now advance to the national ballot that will determine the CoSIDA Academic All-America team.

Oregon concluded its last week regular season at 31-17 overall and 10-14 in the Pac-12. Oregon is currently No. 17 in the latest NCAA RPI and has played the second-most difficult schedule in the nation in 2022.

The selection show for the 2022 NCAA Tournament will be Sunday at 4 p.m. (ESPN2).
