The Men of Oregon enter the weekend as the No. 7 team in the county, and having won the past 14 Pac-12 team titles. The streak started in 2007 at Stanford, and three of those wins have happened in Eugene (2009, '12, '17). At last year's Pac-12 Championships, the UO men scored a meet-record 185 points.

The Women of Oregon carry a No. 9 ranking into the conference meet, extending their top-10 status to seven-consecutive weeks. The UO women have posted Pac-12 runner-up finishes the past three seasons and had won the previous nine titles (2009-17).

Collectively, the 2022 Pac-12 Championships features 13 top-25 teams including the host squads. In the men's competition, ranked challenges will come from No. 8 USC, No. 11 Stanford, No. 19 Washington, No. 22 Arizona State and No. 25 Cal. The women's field also includes No. 15 Washington, No. 16 Arizona State, No. 18 Stanford, No. 21 USC, No. 24 Cal and No. 25 Colorado.

The Ducks' roster features four individual champions from a season ago with Alysah Hickey (long jump), Aneta Konieczek (steeplechase), Dominique Ruotolo (triple jump) and Vollmer (decathlon). Jadyn Mays, Kemba Nelson and Jasmin Reed also return as members of last year's conference-winning 4x100-meter relay.

Since becoming the UO head coach prior to the 2012-13 season, Robert Johnson has seen the Ducks collect 13 Pac-12 outdoor team titles. During their current 14-year winning streak, the UO men have won eight with Johnson at the helm. On the women's side, the Ducks have won five conference titles under Johnson's watch.
