UCLA Wraps NCAAs with Pair of Top-Eight Finishes

Eugene, Ore. – The UCLA women concluded the 2022 season with a pair of top-eight performances on Saturday at the NCAA Championships.

Senior Shae Anderson finished sixth in the 400m, recording a time of 51.50 and scoring three points. Anderson had previously set her season-high in the semifinals with a time of 50.94 en route to first-team All-America honors.

Anderson was back in action at the conclusion of the meet, racing in the 4x400 with Catherine Leger, Makenzy Pierre-Webster and Kate Jendrezak. The Bruin squad finished in seventh place with a time of 3:28.71, earning two points.

That time ranked as a season-best for UCLA, and is the No. 6 time overall in program history.

UCLA finished NCAAs with a total of five points to finish 41st overall as a team.
