Bruins Win 11th Consecutive United Soccer Coaches Academic Award

For the 11th consecutive year, the UCLA women's soccer team has won a United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, recognizing exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.

The Bruins posted a team GPA of 3.35, their third consecutive over 3.25 and their highest since the 2016-17 squad also accumulated a 3.35 team GPA. A program-record 14 players were named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2021.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster.

UCLA opens its 2022 season under first-year head coach Margueritte Aozasa on Thursday, Aug. 18 against Iowa. The match will take place at Wallis Annenberg Stadium at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now at uclabruins.com/tickets.
