Beavers Draw Eastern Washington in Opener
CORVALLIS, Ore. - In the opener, Oregon State kept knocking until the end in a 1-1 draw at Paul Lorenz Field.
Despite conceding in the 28th minute to Eastern Washington's Kalista Kakou, the Beavers kept pressing the Eagles' defense in search of the equalizing tally.
Toward the end of the match with an opportunity to put the game away, the visitors were turned back on a penalty kick that was topped by Hailey Coll.
On a counter attack in the contest's waning minutes, Amber Jackson found Caroline Duncan, who sent the ball past the EWU keeper to get things on level terms at 87:16.

In the full 90, Coll stopped a pair of shots - including the penalty in the 81st to keep the contest a 1-0 affair.
